Venue focus

O2 Academy Sheffield

O2 Academy Sheffield is the former site of the Roxy nightclub and maintains its cutting edge status as a cult venue in the North of England, newly fitted with a £750,000 investment in PA, lighting and A/V to create one of the most dynamic and advanced live music venue to date.

The £3.5m development by AMG includes a large auditorium with a capacity of 2,300 and a secondary smaller room, emulating the success of its multi-room format at other AMG venues across the country, to hold 500.

Its dual-auditorium flexibility ensures an outstanding club space and is home to national club brand, Propaganda, a weekly dose of high octane and indie classics. Whether hosting a leading dance night or a local rock gig, O2 Academy Sheffield serves as a welcoming entertainment landmark.

With two rooms and strong club trade, O2 Academy Sheffield attracts some 250 events per year, thus 200,000 customers per annum.
